Does the Fossil Record show Dinosaurs lived millions of years ago?
What can we learn from the Coelacanth and other living Fossils?
The Fossil Record only shows when a creature was fossilized, not how long it lived before or after the fossil. The extinction of creatures is assumed, but as with the example of finding the "extinct" for 80 million years coelacanth alive in the 1930s and thousands of other living fossils, that is a poor and un-scientific conclusion. The new (past 20 years) discoveries of original bio-materials (colligin, DNA, soft tissue, proteins, C-14) all point to Dinosaurs and other creatures being alive perhaps thousands of years ago, concurrent with ancient humans.
